Open Jump Log from Palm

To use Paralog Companion's database, locate and specify the file 'PL-JumpLogDB.pdb' in your Palm's backup directory (Most likely 'C:\ProgramFiles\Palm\<UserID>\Backup') as the database.

Install Jump Log to Palm

Click the 'Install' toolbar button () or select 'Install' from the 'File' menu to prepare the database for installation on your Palm device by launching the Palm Install Tool. This function is only enabled when a new version of the database has been saved (Note: 'Synchronize with Palm' needs to be enabled in the preferences).

Note:

Paralog Desktop and Paralog Companion do not exchange data directly while hot-syncing, they share the same database file instead. Therefore, only one program (i.e. Paralog Desktop or Hot-Sync) should be running at the same time!

Paralog Desktop's database will not be installed on the Palm until the next Hot-Sync and will overwrite any changes you have made to your jump log on the Palm since the last Hot-Sync and vice versa!
